KHIS2110, Sea of Dangers

I found this book easy to read and very entertaining giving a feel for the adventure of the explorer.
I have a better understanding of Cook seeing his adventures embedded in the wider happenings of the age
adding to a larger picture of the excitement at the time and the competition to discover the last and
greatest continent which was supposed to be a source of riches for the country that would discover
and establish a settlement there.
I was disappointed and left bewildered though,
finding only a few token mentions of tattoo which I see as a serious flaw in the narrative.
I loved the book but can't help thinking history is being sanitized - intentionally.
